Our comfortable and spacious tour bus will pick you up from our designated meeting point.\nEn Route: We’ll journey southwest\, witnessing the stunning\, rolling hills that give Rwanda its name\, “the Land of a Thousand Hills.” We will make a stop at the King’s Palace Museum in Nyanza for a fascinating glimpse into Rwanda’s royal history.\n\n\n1:00 PM: Arrive at our lodge near Nyungwe Forest\, check in\, and enjoy a delicious lunch.\n3:00 PM: Immerse yourself in the local landscape with a guided tour of the lush Gisakura Tea Plantations. Learn about the tea-making process from leaf to cup and savor the incredible panoramic views.\n7:00 PM: Dinner at the lodge\, followed by a relaxing evening under the stars\, listening to the sounds of the forest.\n\nDay 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & The Thrilling Canopy Walk (Sunday) \n\n5:00 AM: An early start with a packed breakfast as we head to the park headquarters for a briefing on our chimpanzee tracking adventure.\n6:00 AM: Begin our trek into the forest with experienced park rangers. The search for the chimpanzees is an adventure in itself\, filled with unique flora and the calls of exotic birds.\nMorning: Spend a magical hour observing the chimpanzee family in their natural habitat.\n12:30 PM: Return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch and some rest.\n2:30 PM: Head out for the main event – the Nyungwe Canopy Walk! We’ll hike the Igishigishigi trail to reach the 160-meter-long suspended walkway.
